The Annual Cub Quiz is to be held this year.

Cub Scout Teams compete for the Thinking man trophy with word searchers, puzzles and questions on Scouting and on general knowledge.

This challenging event will be take place on Saturday 27th March 2010.

The annual parade is to acknowledge the patron saint of Scouting St George. It is organised by the District Scouts with Beavers, cubs, Scouts and Explorer Scouts taking part.
During the service all the groups flags are dedicated and each section renews their promise.In 2010 it takes place on 25th April in Matlock

This exciting event will be held in Manchester this year on 3rd July.
The group teams compete with other Cubs, Scouts and Explorer Scouts from all over the UK

The idea is simple, teams of Scouts have to cook a three course meal on an open fire, set a table and dine with a judge. A truly District challenging scout event.

This new event will take place in September and consists of a full weekend of activities, Canoeing, Camping, Caving and Climbing.

The District swimming gala takes place every year around November at alternate swimming pools Ashbourne and Matlock.

Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorer Scouts all take part..
